It’s been two years since Audi first showed the SQ2 to the world, and now there’s a new version. The 2020 SQ2 gets styling updates in line with the latest Q2, and some added kit, besides. This includes blacked-out visual bits and flared bumpers, as far as design is concerned.
Mechanically, it gets slightly lowered suspension (20mm) and a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which produces 295 bhp and 40.78 kgm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by Audi’s seven-speed S tronic gearbox, while power is delivered to all four wheels thanks to the famed quattro system.
The SQ2 is good for 250 km/hr and can reach 100 km/hr from a standstill in just 4.9 seconds (claimed). Impressive as that may be, do you think we should have one here in India? Also, the lowered suspension height is a part of the S sport suspension on the SQ2. This improves overall handling in comparison to the standard Q2.
