The updated MG ZS EV is here. It now comes with a larger 50.3-kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 461 km. Producing 174 bhp and 36 kgm of torque, the new ZS EV does the 0-100-kph sprint in 8.5 seconds. As compared to the previous iteration of the MG ZS EV, it had a 44.5-kWh battery pack, which offered 419 km and produces 142 bhp. You’ll have to wait for a little before we can tell you how effective that is in the real world.
Besides this, the new MG ZS EV also gets a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera and rear drive, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof and a host of features. We can certainly see a few noticeable changes like the new front-covered grille, new 17-inch alloy wheels. In addition to the above changes, the charging port’s position has also changed, it now hides behind the new stamped-effect grille.
The new MG ZS EV is Rs 50,000 dearer than its predecessor, as its price starts from Rs 21.99 lakh for the Excite variant (base) and Rs 25.88 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India) for the Exclusive variant (top).
