Royal Enfield has announced the sixth edition of the Continental GT Cup, with registrations now open for the 2026 season. Presented by JK Tyre, the one-make racing championship returns with several updates, including the debut of the all-new GT-R750 race prototype for professional riders.

The GT Cup 2026 will feature separate grids for Pro and Amateur categories for the first time since 2022. While professional racers will compete on the new GT-R750 platform, amateur riders will continue using the GT-R650 race bike. Royal Enfield says the GT-R750 has been built on an entirely new platform and gets race-tuned suspension and brakes, lightweight twin exhausts, and a new aerodynamic fairing aimed at improving straight-line performance.

Registrations for the championship are open until May 31, 2026, with zonal selection rounds and Track School sessions scheduled across Guwahati, Delhi NCR, Pune, and Bangalore through May and June. Final rider selections will be held at Kari Motor Speedway from June 18 to 21, followed by championship rounds in August, September, and November.

Royal Enfield has also increased the stakes this year with a ₹20 lakh prize pool, making it one of India’s highest-paying manufacturer-backed racing championships.
