Images of the production-spec Royal Enfield Bear 650 have been leaked online, and with the imminent launch in the very near future, let us have a look at how it could be specced.
The Bear 650 is a scrambler-style motorcycle, and the images hint that it will get the Interceptor 650’s tank and a new single-piece seat. Although it is based heavily on the Interceptor, it gets a revised taillight and turn indicator setup than the Interceptor. It also has a circular headlamp and a single-pod instrument console, which could be similar to the ones seen on the Guerrilla and Himalayan.
The Bear 650 will be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine that produces 47 bhp and 5.33 kgm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The performance figures could see some change, though. The scrambler is fitted with an upside-down front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It rides on wire-spoke wheels with block-patterned dual-purpose tyres. It has disc brakes at both ends and features an upswept two-in-one exhaust, in a proper scrambler fashion.
Stay tuned for a detailed review of the Royal Enfield Bear 650 as soon as we ride it.
