Hungarian brand KEEWAY announced the price for the K-Light 250V, its new V-twin cruiser. Pricing starts from Rs 2.89 lakh for Matte Blue, Rs 2.99 lakh for Matte dark Grey and Rs 3.09 lakh for Matte Black (ex-showroom, India). The K-Light 250V also comes with a two-year unlimited KMS warranty as a standard offering.
The cruiser gets a 249 cc V-twin engine that makes 18.7 bhp and 1.93 kgm of peak torque. This engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox and has a belt-driven mechanism. It also gets disc brakes at both ends and has a 20-litre fuel tank. The K-Light 250V also comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, LED headlight and taillight.
This cruiser also comes with KEEWAY Connect, a smart-tech-enabled solution. It has an integrated GPS unit with an inbuilt SIM card. This connects to the KEEWAY application and shows the whereabouts of the vehicle anywhere and anytime. An inbuilt battery powers the system and the vehicle can be accurately tracked to 2.5-metres of its vicinity and for up to three hours even with the unit disconnected from the main battery.
Other key features of the application include remote engine cut-off, setting up a geo-fence, maintaining ride records, setting max speed limit, and sharing location information with friends on community rides. For assistance during an emergency, the panic button feature helps transmit real-time location to two pre-set contacts via the app. It also initiates the process to avail of roadside assistance.
The new K-Light 250V will go up against the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor, Yezdi Roadster and Benelli Imperiale.
