The Kwid was the only car in Renault India’s line-up that didn’t feature the new brand identity, i.e., the new two-dimensional logo. This new logo was first unveiled for India in July 2025, and the refreshed Triber was the first car to come with it.

The updated Kwid, which, apart from the new logo, gets new plastic covers for the 14-inch steel wheels, is priced at ₹4.53 lakh for the base-spec Emotion manual variant, while the top-spec Climber AMT is priced at ₹5.61 lakh (ex-showroom).

With the update, Renault India has streamlined the variant line-up too, with now only two trims on offer — Emotion and Climber. The brand says it has done this to make the range easier to understand and choose from.

The Kwid was first introduced in 2015, and Renault India has sold more than 4.5 lakh units of the entry-level hatchback since.

Key features on the updated Kwid include an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse camera (Climber only), LED instrument cluster, remote keyless entry, and more. Safety features include up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and seatbelt reminders.

The Kwid is still powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 68 bhp and 9.43 kgm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. If you don’t want the updated Renault Kwid, you can explore the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, its direct rival.
