Contrary to popular belief, the BMW 6 Series GT is still around. Back in September, the Bavarian car maker gave the M Sport Signature treatment to the 630i M, and now the diesel trim has received it as well. With prices beginning from Rs 78.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the 620d M Sport Signature commands a premium of Rs 34,000 over the standard 6 Series diesel trim.
What exactly does the 6 Series diesel get with the M Sport Signature treatment? The same stuff that the petrol version got back in September. These things include 19-inch alloy rims, electronically-adjustable front ‘Comfort’ seats with memory function and lumbar support, along with Dakota Leather Cognac upholstery with black contrast stitching, soft-closing doors, crystal door pins, and special backrest cushions among other things. Similar to the 630i M Sport Signature, the 620d also gives rear passengers access to powered sun-blinds, two 10.25-inch HD touch screens with Bluray & screen mirroring, along with two USB ports.
Under the hood, it features the same inline-four twin-turbo diesel unit, with 187 bhp and 40.78 kgm of torque, while paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 620d M Sport Signature also benefits from adaptive air suspension.
In terms of safety, you also get an attention alert system, six airbags, ABS, dynamic stability and traction control, cornering brake control, and an electronic differential lock among others.
