Kia India has been making sure to create consistent buzz around the 2024 Sonet, which has now finally been launched. Prices for the 2024 Kia Sonet begin from Rs 7.99 lakh, going all the way upto Rs 15.69 lakh (all prices ex-showroom) for the top-end diesel variant. The diesel variant also sees the return of a proper six-speed manual, joining the iMT and the automatic transmission in the lineup.
The interiors of the new Sonet receive a few tweaks here and there, such as a new instrument cluster, an updated centre console with a new screen for climate control, along with revamped housing for the infotainment screen. The ADAS suite includes features such as front collision avoidance assistance, leading vehicle departure assist, lane follow assist, high beam assist, and driver attention warning among other things.
On the outside, Kia has made tweaks to make the Sonet look fresher and sharper, the biggest change being a completely restyled rear-end. Other changes include new bumpers at both ends, along with restyled fog lamps and headlights.
Prices for the 1.2-litre nat-asp petrol trims range between Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 9.89 lakh. Meanwhile the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol trims range between Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 14.69 lakh, available with either an iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel trims are priced between Rs 9.79 lakh to Rs 15.69 lakh, available with the 6-speed manual, iMT, or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
