Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its premium motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-Clutch and XL750 Transalp E-Clutch. The company has also announced the 2026 Gold Wing in a new colour scheme and confirmed the continuation of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP in its flagship line-up. Bookings for all four motorcycles are now open through Honda’s BigWing and Topline dealerships across India.
The headline update is the introduction of Honda’s E-Clutch technology on its 755cc platform. Designed to simplify gear changes by eliminating the need for manual clutch operation during starts, stops and shifts, the system aims to make riding more convenient without sacrificing rider involvement.
The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch is powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine producing 91.8bhp and 7.6kg-m. It features Showa SFF-BP upside-down forks, a five-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity, multiple riding modes and twin 296mm front brake discs. Priced at ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), it will be offered in Graphite Black.
Sharing the same engine output, the XL750 Transalp E-Clutch is aimed at adventure-touring enthusiasts. It comes equipped with Showa SFF-CA suspension, riding modes including Gravel mode, dual LED headlights and a TFT display with smartphone connectivity. Prices start at ₹13.20 lakh.
The 2026 Gold Wing, priced at ₹44.30 lakh, continues with its 1,833cc flat-six engine and seven-speed DCT gearbox, while the Fireblade SP retains its 1,000cc inline-four producing 217.5bhp and 11.5kg-m. The superbike is priced at ₹33.50 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Gurugram).
The updated range underscores Honda’s intent to offer a wider spread of premium motorcycles in India, combining new technology with established flagship models as competition intensifies across the middleweight and litre-class segments.
