MG Motor India has launched the exclusive Couture Editions of the Cyberster electric roadster and M9 luxury MPV, priced at Rs. 87.49 lakh and Rs. 84.94 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Both special editions command a premium of Rs. 4.99 lakh over their standard counterparts and are limited to just 50 units each. Available exclusively through MG Select dealerships across 14 cities, deliveries are scheduled to begin from August 10.
The Couture Editions are the result of MG’s collaboration with renowned fashion designer Gaurav Gupta, a partnership that was first announced earlier this year. Bookings for the limited-run models commenced in July, with the special editions designed to blend automotive design with haute couture-inspired aesthetics.
Both vehicles feature Gupta’s signature Serpent Infinity motif, which serves as the central design theme. On the Cyberster Couture Edition, a white exterior is contrasted by striking orange accents that flow across the bodywork, creating a dynamic visual effect. Additional highlights include Serpent Infinity badging on the bonnet, bespoke embroidery on the tonneau cover, and gold-finished MG emblems at the front and rear, giving the electric sports car a more distinctive appearance.

The M9 Couture Edition adopts a more understated yet equally dramatic design approach. It features charcoal-coloured streaks over a white exterior finish, complemented by a Serpent Infinity emblem integrated into the front bumper. Unique brooch-like elements positioned on either side of the front MG badge depict a mythical winged panther, further enhancing the MPV’s exclusivity. Inside, the cabin remains largely unchanged, with a special Couture Edition wordmark on the dashboard serving as the primary identifier of the limited-run model.
Under the skin, both vehicles remain mechanically identical to their standard versions. The Cyberster continues to be powered by a 77kWh battery pack paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 510bhp and 725Nm of torque. MG claims a 0-100kmph sprint time of just 3.2 seconds, while the MIDC-certified driving range stands at 580km.
The M9, meanwhile, retains its 90kWh battery pack and single-motor front-wheel-drive configuration. The electric MPV produces 245bhp and 350Nm of torque, with an MIDC-certified range of 548km on a full charge.
With production capped at just 50 units each, the MG Cyberster and M9 Couture Editions are aimed at buyers seeking a more exclusive and design-focused take on the brand’s flagship electric vehicles.
