After three months with the Tata Tiago EV, it’s time to bid farewell to what has been a reliable and efficient companion. Serving primarily as my airport shuttle, the Tiago EV helped me transition away from cabs, offering the convenience of parking and charging at the airport itself. Its compact size and smooth performance made navigating the city a breeze, proving to be an ideal runabout for urban commutes.
The interior stands out for its premium feel, especially considering its price segment. The comfortable seats and the Harman sound system were delightful features that elevated the driving experience. Whether a quick errand or a longer city drive, the Tiago EV consistently delivered comfort and practicality.
However, it wasn’t without a few quirks. The charge port door occasionally proved tricky to open and close, and the car alarm would go off if I left it parked and running with the key in my pocket. These were minor inconveniences in an otherwise seamless ownership experience.
What truly shines about the Tiago EV is its cost-effectiveness. After months of regular use, the savings on fuel and maintenance were significant, making a strong case for electric mobility. Tata Motors has created a compelling EV offering with the Tiago, cementing its position in the growing electric car market in India.
As we say goodbye to this trusty companion, we’re reminded of the practicality and charm of this EV. Here’s hoping another electric vehicle joins our fleet soon!
