It has been a few months since the Bullet 350 joined our long-term fleet, and during the course of that, it has seen a few weddings, a couple of long-ish journeys, and a whole lot of traffic. It has somehow turned into the perfect commuter, not to mention how comfortable the seating ergonomics are. After being a tad disappointed initially due to the fact that I expected too much of it as soon as it was launched, I have surrendered to the fact that it is what it is.

The Bullet’s fuel gauge was well overdue

But then the question that begs to be asked is whether what it is is any good. Having ridden it all around town, to early morning shoots, and to various locations around the city, one thing I can say with confidence is that I have grown to like the easygoing, classic-looking thumper. And while nostalgia does its job, all it has done in this case is add to the charm of the motorcycle. Keep in mind that once I got used to it, it has been subject to my midnight zoomies and mid-day office runs, too. At this point, if you are ever in Mumbai and see a streak of maroon thunder on by you, you can probably just give in to the fact that it was probably me on my way to something I was already late for.
