Unveiled just last month at Volkswagen’s Annual Brand Conference in Jaipur, the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport have finally been launched. The Taigun GT Line comes with the 1.0-litre TSI engine, with both manual and automatic transmission options, while the Taigun GT Sport can be had only with the 1.5-litre TSI engine, also available with manual and automatic transmission options.
Prices for the Volkswagen Taigun GT Line range between Rs 14.08 lakh to Rs 15.63 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on whether you pick the 6-speed manual or the 6-speed torque-converter. The Taigun GT Plus Sport also receives the same set of changes as the GT Line, but additionally receives red brake callipers and red GT badging on the fenders, tailgate, and the grille. On the inside, the GT Plus Sport additionally receives red inserts, red GT lettering on the seats, and red stitching on the seats and steering wheel. The GT Plus Sport also gets aluminium pedals.
