There’s the renewed version of the Skoda Karoq. Skoda’s made it sleeker, patched it up with a few tech updates, and without a doubt, it looks amazing in that Sportline trim with those optional 19-inch rims.

Oh, there’s also a 4×4 version available on the 188-bhp 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and the 148-bhp 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. Also, there are other petrol and diesel engine options. And all the engines can be either linked with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic except for the 1.0-litre engine that only gets a manual ‘box.

As far as features are concerned, its predecessor had plenty of them. But, this time, its entry-level SE Drive variant gets a fully-digital 8-inch driver’s display. In addition to that, it gets an option for wireless phone charging. As expected, Skoda’s offering rock-solid safety features on the Karoq like up to nine airbags, front assist with predictive pedestrian protection, predictive cruise control, adaptive lane assist and traffic sign recognition.

Whether the Karoq will get another stint in the Indian market or not is still uncertain. But, if we had to choose, then we will choose the SportLine trim which has all the bells and whistles. Anyway, what do you make of the updated Karoq’s sporty design.
