Alongside all the ‘swift’ drama that was happening today, BMW India quietly introduced a new version of the 3 Series Gran Limousine. Called the M Sport Pro, it comes in at Rs 62.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro is available in the 330 Li guise.
Outside, the 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro gets a blacked-out kidney grille, while the adaptive LED headlights are outlined by the dark-tinted M Lights Shadowline. The rear isn’t all that different, with the exception of a gloss black-finished diffuser.
The equipment list includes an ADAS suite, with features such as blind spot detection, lane change assist, forward and rear collision warning assist, and parking assist with 3D view. The interior layout remains the same, swathed in Vernasca leather and the BMW Curved Display taking centre-stage. Other features include three-zone climate control, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, four driving modes, driver drowsiness detection and cornering brake control among others.
Things remain the same under the hood as well; the 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine, producing 255 bhp and 40.79 kgm of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. So, would you pay over Rs 2 lakh extra over the standard 3 Series GL?
