Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-Access, marking the brand’s entry into the electric two-wheeler market. This new offering sports a fresh design language, a departure from the traditional Access series. The e-Access features a sleeker, more aerodynamic profile, designed to optimise airflow for enhanced performance.
At the front, the scooter is equipped with sharp LED headlights complemented by a vertical LED bar that serves as a Daytime Running Light (DRL). The turn indicators are positioned at the bottom of the front apron and use halogen bulbs, maintaining a classic aesthetic.
The e-Access also boasts modern tech, including a fully digital colour TFT instrument cluster that is rich in features, making it both functional and stylish. For convenience, the scooter includes a smart key for keyless operation, as well as LED tail lights, alloy wheels, and front disc brakes. Additionally, a charging port is neatly integrated behind the front apron, adding to the scooter’s user-friendly design.
Powering the Suzuki e-Access is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, providing a range of 95 km on a single charge. The scooter can reach a top speed of 71 kph, and riders can choose from three different riding modes, including a reverse mode for easy manoeuvring. With these features, the Suzuki e-Access stands as a promising new addition to the electric scooter segment.
