Looks like the podium got the right spice mix—Puducherry with the French flair, Bengaluru with the tech smarts, and Mangaluru with the legendary dosas. Who knew racing could taste this diverse? Tasty!
The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2024, held in partnership with JK Tyre, wrapped up on 17 November 2023 at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. With over 24 riders across six months, this fourth edition was one of a kind.
With amateur grassroots talent pairing with pro-level competitors in the championship’s two-category of amateurs and professionals format.
Across three rounds and eight nail-biting races, Navaneeth Kumar of Puducherry stole the show in the Professional Category, while Yogesh P of Bengaluru clinched the Amateur title.
The fourth season also introduced an exciting twist with the debut of the Twin Power Trophy, pairing seasoned racers with emerging talent. Navaneeth Kumar and Johnson Xavier Saldanha of Mangaluru emerged victorious.
A combination of street smarts and track experience was expected — and it delivered one hundred per cent. Now for the sad part: waiting for the next season.
