The Kawasaki NInja ZX-4RR has finally arrived, and like we mentioned, it’s coming in limited numbers. With a price tag of Rs 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the Ninja ZX-4RR doesn’t really have a direct rival, and is also the most expensive 400 cc motorcycle one can buy today.
How is the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR different from the ZX-4R? It receives pre-load adjustable 37 mm USD Showa SFF-BP forks, which is not the case on the ZX-4R. Its rear suspension comes from its big brother, the ZX-10RR; a fully-adjustable Showa BFRC-lite gas-charged monoshock, with a piggyback reservoir and a top-out spring.
It retains the same 399 cc liquid-cooled inline-four powertrain, producing 76.4 bhp at 14,500 rpm and 4 kgm of torque at 13,000 rpm. With RAM air intake, the power output goes up to 78.7 bhp. The six-speed gearbox gets a quickshifter as standard, along with a slip-and-assist clutch.
If you’re someone who likes to keep things under the radar, you’ll be fine with the ZX-4RR, since it retains the same design, but keen eyes will notice Kawasaki’s Racing Green paint scheme. But if you’re spending that much, you’d like to stand out at least a little, right?
