Weekends are for MotoGP, but family duties demand a grocery run? Well, now you can do that while rooting for your favourite rider… as long as they ride for Gresini Racing. Italjet has revealed two limited-edition versions of its 300cc Dragster wrapped in Gresini livery. Oh, and it’s more than just colours that make this scooter interesting than it is in its standard avatar.

For starters, in addition to the wild aero package on the Dragster, there’s also a new set of aero elements on the tail, just like you see on Gresini’s MotoGP bike. Furthermore, the company has also thrown in an Akrapovic exhaust as standard with this variant. And no, an Akra exhaust on this scooter is not an overkill.

The Italjet Dragster is powered by a 278cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor that has a max output of 24 bhp and 2.4 kgm. That’s in the territory of the 200cc Pulsars and the KTM 200s. But Italjet is generous enough to equip all versions of this 300cc scooter with Ohlins suspension at both ends.

While the company is yet to put a price tag on this scooter, Italjet reportedly went from making just 50 units to 75 to cater to the increasing demand of the product. Needless to say, this is not coming  to India in the near future and the closest we can get to a sporty offering like this is the Yamaha Aerox 155 in the Monster MotoGP replica.
