Husqvarna is all set to pull the veils off the Svartpilen 901on March 5, 2024. The Swedish company has posted two teasers on its social media of the scrambler playing in the dirt and the snow.

It’s no secret that the new Huskies would be based on a KTM, and this time, it looks like it is going to be based on the 890 Duke. Yes, the Swedish bike won’t share its componentry with the new 990 Duke. Nonetheless, these should be fun motorcycles with the KTM DNA.

The engine is cradled in what appears to be the same steel trellis chassis as the 890 Duke. Furthermore, the WP suspension at both ends, and the swingarm, too, seem straight off the Duke. What’s different is the high-mounted exhaust and the five-spoke alloy wheels.

As we have seen on the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, the design is also expected to change from the previous iteration of the bike. So, expect a slightly bulkier design but with the same minimalist treatment of the Swedish brand.

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 901 is unlikely to come to India, but going by the trend, we’d love to see a Svartpilen 1301. A V-twin scrambler with 180 bhp and 14 kgm of peak twist? Now that’s a bonkers motorcycles that the world may not need, but it’s worth having, anyways.
