Indian already has a substantial range on sale in India, and it is moving up the luxury ladder. It has launched two premium models at the launch of the Bengaluru dealership – the Roadmaster and Chief Dark Horse.
The Roadmaster puts out 142 kgm of torque from its 1811 cc engine and among other things, offers an electrically adjustable windshield and keyless start. The Chief Dark Horse has the same engine and output, but it is finished in – no points for guessing this – black. It is a Chief in dark clothing, this, and monochrome war-bonnet graphics on the fuel tank.
