The Outlander Pro pants are the newest addition to Rynox’s adventure touring lineup, and they arrive with one of the biggest credentials riding pants can have — Class AA CE certification.
Are they any good?
The Class AA rating isn’t just another badge stitched onto the fabric. It certifies the entire garment for impact protection, abrasion resistance, seam and tear strength, dimensional stability, and overall fit. Better still, the premium quality is evident the moment you slip them on.
The four-way stretch polyester construction offers impressive freedom of movement, whether you’re standing on the pegs or negotiating technical trails. Reinforced nylon panels in high-impact areas add another layer of protection without making the pants feel bulky, while Rynox’s Drycore waterproof pocket keeps your essentials protected from the elements.
Designed with a true dual-sport ADV fit, the Outlander Pro pants are roomier than road-biased riding trousers, and are intended to be worn over adventure boots. However, the Velcro ankle adjusters let you cinch the cuffs tighter if you prefer wearing your boots over the pants.
Protection is comprehensive too. Adjustable CE Level 2 knee protectors allow you to fine-tune the fit, while CE Level 2 hip armour comes standard. There’s even provision for an optional tailbone protector.
Despite the impressive protection, ventilation is excellent. After hours of riding through sweltering heat and humid weather, the pants remain remarkably comfortable. And when the seasons change, Rynox’s optional ModuLayer rain and winter liners transform them into an all-weather touring companion.
Are they expensive?
At ₹11,450, the Outlander Pro pants deliver excellent value. The thoughtful ergonomics, easy-to-access pockets, high levels of comfort, and comprehensive protection make them feel worth every rupee.
