Kia India’s dealer network has achieved a new milestone for electric vehicle deliveries, with Incheon Kia in Kochi delivering 150 units of the Kia Syros EV in a single day. The milestone was achieved on August 17, marking what is claimed to be the highest number of electric vehicles of a single model delivered by one dealership in India in a day.
The achievement comes shortly after the launch of the Syros EV, highlighting the growing interest in Kia’s latest electric offering. The large-scale handover also underlines the increasing acceptance of electric vehicles among customers in markets beyond the traditional metro cities.

The 150 customers took delivery of their Syros EVs in Kochi, turning the occasion into a significant event for both the dealership and Kia India. While large delivery events are increasingly common for popular new models, achieving such a high volume with a single electric model in one day remains notable as EV adoption continues to expand across the country.
The Syros EV is positioned as a more accessible electric SUV in Kia’s India portfolio, combining a familiar SUV body style with an electric powertrain and a technology-focused cabin. Its launch is part of Kia’s broader push to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly developing electric vehicle market.
For Incheon Kia, the record delivery represents more than just a numerical achievement. It demonstrates the dealership’s ability to handle large-scale EV deliveries while also reflecting the growing demand for electric mobility in Kerala. Kochi has emerged as an important market for EVs, supported by increasing awareness, improving charging infrastructure and growing customer interest in cleaner mobility.
The record also arrives at an important stage for Kia, as competition in India’s electric SUV segment continues to intensify. Manufacturers are increasingly introducing electric versions of popular models, giving customers more choices across different price points and body styles.
With 150 Syros EVs delivered in a single day, Incheon Kia has set a benchmark for single-model EV deliveries in India. More importantly, the milestone highlights how quickly electric vehicles are moving from niche products to mainstream choices for Indian car buyers.
