Tata Motors has achieved yet another remarkable feat with the Harrier EV; it scored a five-star rating in the BNCAP crash tests for both adult as well as child occupant protection, registering the highest score for adult occupant protection for a Tata model to date in the process.
The Harrier EV scored a full 32 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection. In comparison, it managed to score 45 out of 49 points for child occupant protection. This crash test rating applies to all variants – Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless+, and Empowered across the 65kWh, 75kWh, and 75kWh QWD derivatives.

The variant tested by BNCAP was the Empowered+ 75 kWh single-motor and Empowered+ 75 kWh dual-motor models, which come equipped with features like ABS with EBD, 6-Airbags, hill descent control, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, HHC, VDC, seatbelt reminder system, speed alert system, rollover mitigation, and AVAS as standard.
