The sight of Yuvraj Singh demolishing England by hitting six sixes in an over, with Ravi Shastri’s iconic commentary providing the perfect background, remains etched in the minds of many Indians for eternity. Now, as the 2023 MotoGP Bharat is all set to take place, the former Indian cricketer will take on the role of flagging off the Moto2 Race at the Buddh International Circuit! The 2023 MotoGP Bharat is scheduled to take place from September 22 to 24, 2023.
This development follows soon after the announcement of a partnership between Autologue Design and Pertamina Mandalika SAG Racing Team. Notably, Autologue Design is the first-ever Indian brand to sponsor a Moto2 racing team, further solidifying India’s presence in global motorsports and generating interest about the sport within the country as well. The current Pertamina Mandalika SAG Racing Team consists of two racers — Bo Bendsnyder and Taiga Hada.
Autologue Design is known for making body kits aftermarket accessories for motorcycles such as the Bajaj Dominar, Royal Enfield Interceptor, Royal Enfield Himalayan, TVS Apache RTR 200, Hero Xpulse and so on. You can check out their range of products here. Yuvraj Singh has promoted Autologue Design, along with designer and founder Mukul Nanda back in 2014. He is also quite the automotive buff, having owned several Audis, BMWs, and even a Lamborghini Murcielago at some point.
We were also lucky enough to experience a weekend of learning the art of flat tracking and going sideways on purpose-built Royal Enfield Himalayans, you can check out our experience right here.
