Volvo Car India has launched the facelifted XC60 at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹71.90 lakh, bringing subtle design updates and significant tech enhancements to its popular luxury SUV. While the powertrain remains unchanged, the refreshed model aims to offer a more premium and connected driving experience.

Visually, the facelifted XC60 retains its sleek and familiar silhouette but now wears a revised front fascia featuring a new diagonal-slat grille and a reshaped bumper. The SUV rides on dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels, while the rear gets smoked LED tail-lamps for a sportier touch. A new exterior shade called Forest Lake has also been added to the existing colour palette.

Inside the cabin, the XC60 facelift now gets a much more tech-forward setup. The star attraction is the new 11.2-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon digital cockpit platform, promising faster and smoother operation. This is paired with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, giving the driver access to all essential information in high resolution.

The luxurious cabin also features Nappa leather upholstery in a blonde shade, ventilated and massaging front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, four-zone climate control, and 360-degree cameras. These additions push the XC60 closer to the top tier of the segment in terms of luxury and tech.

True to Volvo’s brand ethos, safety continues to be a key highlight. The XC60 comes equipped with seven airbags and Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping and pilot assists, blind-spot detection with auto-brake, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Under the hood, there are no mechanical changes. The SUV continues with the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It produces 250bhp and 36.70 kgm of torque, sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Priced at ₹71.90 lakh, the XC60 facelift sees a modest hike of ₹1.15 lakh over the previous model. Offered in a single, fully-loaded Ultra trim, it takes on the BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GLC in India’s competitive midsize luxury SUV segment.
