The TVS Jupiter has always been a scooter that does whatever you ask of it, and the 125 adds a premium experience to all of that. TVS has now launched the Jupiter 125 SmartXonnect variant, which can be had from Rs 96,855 onwards (ex-showroom). The TVS Jupiter 125 SmartXonnect, as the name suggests, adds a host of features under the SmartXonnect suite, and it also gets two new colour schemes on offer.

The instrument cluster is now a fully-digital TFT unit lifted off of the Ntorq 125 Race XT, which can be connected via the TVS Connect app. The set of features includes voice-assisted turn-by-turn navigation, call and social media alerts, sports / news / weather updates, and distance-to-empty among other things. Other features include a follow-me headlamp and combi-braking system. The set of new paint schemes includes an Elegant Red and Copper Matte Bronze.

Design-wise, and also mechanically, the TVS Jupiter 125 SmartXonnect is identical to the regular Jupiter 125, featuring a design that will be acceptable to all age groups, pretty much a safer option for those who want to stay away from the more-youthful Ntorq 125. The 124.8 cc engine continues to churn out 8.2 bhp and 1.07 kgm of torque, while the underbone tubular frame is suspended on telescopic forks and a monoshock which receives pre-load adjustability.

We’d like to think that you can pause riding in order to get cricket updates from the scooter, but let’s wait for a review!
