The Jaguar I-Pace is set to make its India debut later this year or by early 2021. It will be offered in three trim variants which include S, SE and HSE. Deliveries for it will begin from March 2021. The recently launched Mercedes-Benz EQC and the upcoming Audi e-tron will be its direct rivals.
The Jaguar I-Pace has a 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery sending power to two electric motors with a combined output of 395 bhp and 70.97 kgm of torque. As far as range is concerned, the I-Pace has a 480 km range. And using a 100 kW DC fast charger, it can charge from 0 to 80 percent in 40 minutes. The same amount of charge with a 7 kW AC wall box will take about 10 hours. Thanks to Jaguar’s partnership with Tata Power India, customers will be provided with Home/Office charging solutions, and they can also access the ‘EZ Charge’ EV charging network set up by Tata Power. Well, it’s just the beginning and already there are 200+ charging points in 23+ cities with more in the pipeline.
Now, it wouldn’t be fair to the I-Pace’s name if it wasn’t quick, but thankfully it accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds. In addition to all of this, the I-Pace will come with an 8 year/160000 km warranty on its battery pack.
Moreover, the I-Pace customers will have extra benefits in addition to the aforementioned warranty. For instance, they will get a service package good for 5 years, roadside assistance and a 7.4 kW AC wall-mounted charger, too. You can get in touch with Jaguar to book yours! Stay tuned for more updates on it.
