The Jeep Compass Night Eagle edition is now on sale in India and it will be available in three variants with two powertrain options. First, the 161 bhp, 1.4-litre turbo petrol paired to a DCT gearbox, which is priced at Rs 20.14 lakh. Then there is the 171 bhp, 2.0-litre diesel version with the manual gearbox, priced at Rs 20.75 lakh. And finally the 171 bhp, 2.0-litre diesel paired to an automatic transmission with all-wheel-drive, priced at Rs 23.31 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai.
What you get in this special edition are blacked out elements inside and out. Outside, the grille, window trim, badges and 18-inch alloys all get the black treatment. Inside, again, there is no real change except for the dark upholstery and blacked out dash. You also get to choose from four colours in this variant: Magnesio Grey, Exotica Red, Brilliant Black and Vocal White.
