After the 100-year Limited Edition range, MG Motor seems set for yet another special edition launch. This time, the model in question is the Gloster, which did not get the 100-year Limited Edition treatment. Teasers for the MG Gloster Storm Series have been doing the rounds on social media, while the facelifted Gloster can be sometime later this year.

While the first teaser seemed to hint towards a newer, facelifted model considering a new grille is partially visible, on closer inspection it seems to resemble the unit on the Blackstorm Edition. Meanwhile the second teaser tells us that the car will be offered with special paint schemes derived from the desert and the snow.

The interiors of the MG Gloster Storm Series are likely to feature some elements based on the special edition themes as well, but the overall layout will remain the same, retaining the 12.2-inch infotainment screen and other bits. While it already offers features such as an ADAS suite, Hinglish voice commands, live weather updates, offline navigation, and a 12-speaker sound system among other things, the MG Gloster Storm Series is likely to amp up the equipment list with the addition of a few new things.

Things will remain the same under the hood as well; a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel (twin-turbo on the higher variants) packing 213 bhp and 48.8 kgm of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, along with all-wheel drive and seven off-road modes.

While prices for the standard Gloster range between Rs 38.79 lakh to Rs 43.86 lakh (ex-showroom), the Storm Series will make you shell out a bit more, so be prepared.
