McLaren has unveiled the successor to the GT — the McLaren GTS. Though it looks more or less very similar to the GT, it boasts of improved power-to-weight ratio as well as performance.

The GTS is powered by the same 4 litre twin-turbo V8 as the GT, but has been tuned to deliver slightly more power, making the car reach 0-100 kph in 3.2 seconds, 0-200 kph in 8.9 seconds (0.1 seconds quicker than the GT) and a top speed of 326 kph. The car also sheds 10 kilograms compared to its predecessor.McLaren GTS

The GTS also gets a new paint option dubbed as ‘Lava Grey’ along with a new alloy wheel design. There’s an option of Softgrain Aniline Leather seats
with double-piping pattern and new contrast stitching for the interiors too.

McLaren’s vehicle-lift function can raise the nose of the GTS in just four seconds, increasing the ground clearance by 20 mm to 130 mm, enabling drivers to navigate over speed bumps a little less tensed. When can we get to see one in India? Well, that’s a question we might have to wait a little longer to see addressed.McLaren GTS
