The Jeep Compass is currently FCA’s strongest performing product in India, which means the brand’s unlikely to leave any stone unturned in making sure that its customer is satisfied. So following the widening of its sales and service network, the company has also made its new Mopar extended warranty programme available for the Jeep Compass.

With coverage identical to the current standard warranty, the extended warranty is available for new and existing Jeep Compass customers. The introductory prices (Rs 25,000 for Sport; Rs 28,000 for Longitude; and Rs 32,000 for Jeep Compass Limited) are valid only till May 31, 2019, and the company further mentions that these will be revised from June 1.

The Mopar Extended Warranty scheme will be valid for the fourth and fifth year and up to a mileage of 150,000 km. To recapitulate the standard warranty is valid for 3 years or 100,000 km. The Mopar Extended Warranty comes with 24×7 RSA, and covers minor onsite repairs, pilot error, fuel and battery assistance, key recovery, electrical and mechanical breakdown and accidental breakdown. During the warranty period, the company will also provide taxi and towing facilities, and hotel and return journey assistance. And in case the vehicle is sold while under warranty, the programme allows the transfer of benefits to the second owner as well.

FCA India’s President and MD, Kevin Flynn said, “A good quality product like the Jeep Compass has to be complemented by efficient after-sales service. We have been keen for our Indian customers to experience Mopar, our Global service, parts and care division, and enjoy the benefits and peace of mind that come along with the Mopar promise. The new Extended Warranty program under Mopar reflects our confidence on the quality standard of the Jeep Compass.”
