Jaguar’s high-performance SUV, the F-Pace SVR SV Bespoke Edition 1988 is now available in India. Only 394 units will be built for the global market and are created by the firm’s SV Bespoke division. The name ‘Edition 1988’ pays homage to the racing success of the World Sports Prototype Championship winning XJR-9 in 1988.
The F-Pace SVR SV Bespoke Edition 1988 is powered by a supercharged 5-litre V8 petrol engine that generates 542 bhp and 71.3 kgm of torque. This comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive setup. The SUV can also sprint from zero to 100 kph in just four seconds.
On the interior, the vehicle gets semi-aniline ebony leather upholstery and exclusive Sunset Gold Satin detailing across the dashboard, steering wheel spokes, gear shift paddles, and the heated-and-cooled front performance seats. It also gets a sliding panoramic roof, heads-up display and the latest connectivity technologies including wireless device charging.
The Jaguar leaper and horn ring on the steering wheel receive a Satin Black finish, with subtle SV Bespoke and Edition 1988 branding on the illuminated treadplates and dashboard. Gloss Black finishes are also extended to the door mirror caps, brake callipers, wheel centre caps and the letter R on the SVR badging.
The limited-edition F-Pace gets a unique Midnight Amethyst Gloss paintwork which is complemented by a set of optional 22-inch Champaign Gold Satin forged alloy wheels. Further, the vehicle receives a Sunset Gold Satin finish on the Jaguar leaper and Jaguar lettering. The vehicles also get a unique ‘One of 394’ SV Bespoke commissioning graphic.
