The Hyundai Venue has received yet another updated variant, and things are a little different this time. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol powertrain now gets a proper six-speed manual transmission. Called the Executive Turbo variant, it carries a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

In terms of equipment, this variant gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also comes equipped with voice commands and a digital cluster. On the inside, the car receives a front centre armrest with in-built storage, 2-step reclining seats, a 60:40 split rear seat, and adjustable headrests for all passengers.

Outside, the car gets dual-tone alloy wheels, a dark chrome front radiator grille, roof rails, and a shark-fin antenna. The tailgate gets an embossed ‘executive’ badge.

The car has improved safety features with 6 airbags as standard, 3-point seatbelts, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, day/night rear-view mirror, automatic headlights, and a tyre pressure monitoring system among other things.

Hyundai has also added to the equipment list of the Venue S turbo variant, with an electric sunroof, and map lamps for drivers and passengers. The S turbo trim comes with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission mated to the 1.0-litre engine. This variant is priced at Rs. 75,000 (ex-showroom) more than the executive turbo.
