Hyundai India has finally launched the much-awaited Hyundai Alcazar 2024 at an introductory price of INR 14.99 lakh. Hyundai India has been very aggressive with the Indian market and hence they have updated their much-loved SUV. Bookings for the new Alcazar have already started for a token amount of INR 25,000. Let’s talk about what’s new in the Hyundai Alcazar 2024!

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar will be available in four main variants: Platinum, Signature, Prestige, and Executive.

Buyers can choose between six- and seven-seater configurations, catering to different family sizes and seating preferences.

The facelift brings several feature enhancements, particularly in the higher-spec variants. The top-end version of the Alcazar will include a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, and a 360-degree camera.

Additionally, the new Alcazar will feature Hyundai’s Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, offering increased safety and driving assistance features. A wireless charger will also be part of the equipment list.

Under the hood, the updated Alcazar will come with two engine choices: a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol option will be available with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) gearbox, while the diesel engine will be offered with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic torque converter.

Hyundai is offering eight exterior color options for the Alcazar facelift, giving customers a wide range of choices. The colors include Atlas White, Abyss Black Pearl, Ranger Khaki, Fiery Red, Robust Emerald Pearl, Starry Night, Titan Grey Matte, and a dual-tone Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.

Once launched, the new Hyundai Alcazar will continue competing in the three-row SUV segment, facing rivals such as the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, Toyota Innova Crysta, Kia Carens, and Toyota Innova Hycross.

The Alcazar 2024 aims to remain competitive by offering a mix of feature upgrades and multiple seating and engine options, catering to varied consumer needs in the growing SUV market in India.
