In just three months since its launch, the BYD Seal has crossed the mark of 1,000 bookings. The Seal, which goes against the likes of Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6 and Volvo XC40 Recharge, is the cheapest amongst the lot, with prices starting from ₹ 41 Lakh and going all the way up to ₹ 53 Lakh (ex-showroom). Things look bright for BYD India with the Seal crossing this milestone.

The BYD Seal comes in three variants — dynamic, premium and performance. The dynamic variant makes 201 bhp and 31.61 kgm of torque while the premium variant makes 308 bhp and 36.70 kgm. The all-wheel drive performance variant produces an impressive 522 bhp and 68.32 kgm of torque.
