V8-powered performance pickup trucks may be a dying breed, but Shelby clearly isn’t ready to let them fade away. Meet the 2026 Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport – a single-cab, rear-wheel-drive 810 bhp performance workhorse that can easily embarrass plenty of sports cars.
Based on the regular-cab Ford F-150, the Super Snake Sport is powered by Ford’s iconic 5-litre naturally aspirated Coyote V8 engine. Buyers can choose between two states of tune. The standard version produces 480 bhp, but the real headline act is the optional Shelby-developed supercharger package that cranks output to a monstrous 810 bhp. Shelby claims that’s enough to catapult the truck from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds, making it one of the quickest pickups ever built.
To ensure all that power isn’t wasted, Shelby has comprehensively reworked the chassis. The truck rides on a lowered performance suspension with revised springs, upgraded dampers and stiffer anti-roll bars to improve handling. There’s also a Borla performance exhaust, uprated brakes and a set of bespoke 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tyres, to aid handling.
On the styling front, the pickup truck has become more buff than its standard avatar, boasting a bespoke bonnet with a prominent power dome, a more aggressive front bumper, a redesigned grille and a front splitter. Along the sides are unique Super Snake graphics, Shelby badging and wider side skirts, while the rear gets a sportier bumper treatment as well.
Inside, Shelby has given the cabin an equally bespoke treatment. There’s leather upholstery almost everywhere, embroidered headrests, carbonfibre trim, unique floor mats and a numbered dashboard plaque. Despite its hardcore nature, the truck retains all the comfort and technology of the latest F-150, including a large infotainment system, digital driver’s display and a full suite of driver assistance systems.
Exclusivity is another big part of the appeal. Shelby will produce just 250 examples of the F-150 Super Snake Sport, with every truck receiving its own official Shelby serial number and a place in the Shelby Registry. Prices start at $115,795 (approximately Rs 1 crore) in the USA.
