Excuse the puns, but JLR has announced that the 2018 Range Rover range, erm, portfolio line up is now available. The company has begun taking bookings for both the Range Rover and the RR Sport at all of its 27 dealerships across the country.

The mid-life update brings a couple of changes to the flagship SUVs, including LED headlamps (which don’t blind the oncoming traffic) and a new ‘Atlas’ mesh grille. The duo also comes with Touch Pro Duo entertainment system, power-deployable centre console at the rear, heated messaging seats, gesture-operated sun blind, cabin ionisation, and adaptive cruise control.

Engine options include two petrol units (both supercharged): a 3-litre V6 that makes 335 bhp and a 5-litre V8 that makes 518 bhp. The diesel line-up, on the other hand, is represented by a 255-bhp 3-litre V6 and a 335-bhp 4.4-litre V8.

JLR India’s President and MD, Rohit Suri said, “The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport have always offered best-in-class comfort, technologies, refinement and driving pleasure. With the Model Year 2018 versions, we have refined and honed our flagship models with technologies and features that have raised the benchmark once again.”

Prices for the RR Sport start at Rs 99.48 lakh while the Range Rover is available from Rs 1.74 crore onwards.
