Yamaha has unveiled the new 2023 editions of the Tenere 700 and Tenere 700 Rally. The two motorcycles get a host of feature updates for the new model year.
The Tenere 700 comes with new colours and graphics, and one of the major updates is a 5-inch dual theme TFT meter giving smartphone connectivity. It also gets 3-mode switchable ABS and full LED lighting. The new TFT unit also gives the rider an option to switch screen themes. As of now, it is available with two themes, namely explorer and street.
Yamaha has also the bike a new USB socket, redesigned front brake levers, and LED indicators. The three-mode switchable ABS implies that it gets an On, an Off, and Rear-off modes. Other than these significant changes and additions, the bike remains overall the same mechanically.
The exclusive Tenere 700 Rally Edition is inspired by the legendary riders and iconic Yamaha machines that made Dakar the greatest race in the world. It pays tribute to those heroes that tamed the desert. For 2023, the Tenere 700 Rally Edition is also upgraded with a 5-inch dual theme TFT display with smartphone connectivity. It also gets 3-mode switchable ABS to improve off-road capabilities, same as the Tenere 700. Finished in a heritage white and red colour scheme, it comes equipped with top-of-the-line accessories.
Currently aimed at the European market, the official pricing of the 2023 Tenere 700 is expected to be revealed at the 2022 EICMA event. Stay tuned to find out whether they will land on Indian shores anytime soon.
