Yamaha has launched the Fascino, a 113cc scooter, at a price of Rs 52,500, ex-Delhi. The Fascino will cater to the style-conscious buyer with its different styling.
The Fascino will compete with the likes of the Vespa LX because it puts a lot of effort into style, but it also delivers quite a lot of value for money at that price – the Vespa retails at a much steeper price. The underpinnings of the Fascino are identical to the Ray, and as such it should be a fun-to-ride scooter that will appeal to those who have difficulty handling scooters like the Activa because of lack of height.
