Simple Energy has increased its lineup to include another electric scooter, the Simple Dot One. With an introductory price tag of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom), the Dont one aims to be an easier entry point into the Simple Energy lineup. The Dot One. comes in a single variant equipped with a fixed battery, offering a claimed range of 151 km. Available in four standard colours, it also caters to customization preferences with LightX and BrazenX options.

The Simple Dot One accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in a claimed 2.77 seconds. scooter generates 11.3 bhp from its electric motor, delivering a peak torque output of 7.3 kgm.

Simple Energy claims that the Dot One can be charged in a claimed time of 3 hour and 47 minutes to 80 per cent with the home charger. However, the manufacturer also offers a fast charging setup, with a claimed time of 1 hour and 40 minutes upto 80 per cent.

Safety features include a combi-braking system, a 35-litre under-seat storage space, parking assist, bluetooth connectivity, navigation and a dedicated mobile app among other features.

Customers in Bangalore who pre-booked the Simple One can avail themselves of an exclusive introductory price for the Dot One, making it an enticing offer for early adopters. The limited pricing stands while inventory lasts, and new customer rates will be disclosed in January 2024 at a slightly higher premium. Bookings  are now open online, inviting enthusiasts to be part of the future of electric mobility. The company aims to broaden the accessibility of electric vehicle ownership across the country and cater to a diverse demographic.
