Royal Enfield has launched a special edition of the Classic 350, its best-selling motorcycle, called the Gorkha Edition. Priced at Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom), there are no mechanical changes to the special edition commemorating the Gorkha Regiment.
The Classic 350 gets a special Gorkha Green matte colour, which in person looks much better than in the photos. It also gets a Gorkha Regiment insignia featuring the crossed Khukris. All Classic 350 variants recently received the Assist & Slipper Clutch as well as a USB Type-C port, and the same has been carried over to the Gorkha Edition too.
In addition to the Classic 350’s special edition, Royal Enfield has also introduced Gorkha Edition apparel, which includes a full-face and half-face helmet, T-shirts, hats, boots, headgear and keychains.
The Classic 350 comes with a 349cc single-cylinder J-Series engine with 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual.
