If you thought the Honda CBR1000RR-R SP was the closest you could get to buying a MotoGP bike, we’ve got news for you. KTM is selling two RC16s that were ridden by Pol Espargaro for a cool Rs 2.55 crore, excluding customs duties and taxes. The RC16 is a beast of a machine, no doubt about that. Here’s a rundown of its specifications. Powering it is a 1000cc V4 engine that delivers 262 bhp and it only weighs 157 kg. If you’re willing to push it, the RC16 can even reach speeds in excess of 340 kph. Granted, it’s something that you can only ride on track, because it’s not remotely street legal. Still interested? Of course, that price tag includes more than just the bike. KTM is offering some special privileges along with it. The RC16 comes with Pol Espargaro’s racing leathers, a signed helmet and VIP access to a MotoGP race in 2021 with weekend access to the Red Bull Energy Station. It’s a sweet bargain, that.
