Vespa India has introduced the new Vespa Dual scooter to their product portfolio. The Dual VXL and SXL scooters have been updated with new OBD2-compliant engines. Targeted at the Gen-Z crowd who like to stand out or make a statement, the Vespa Dual is characterized by a special two-tone livery. Available in both 125cc as well as 150cc engine options, the range is priced from Rs 1.32 lakh onwards.
Vespa has updated the existing engines to make them BS6 Phase 2 compliant. For this, Vespa has added OBD onboard sensors that regulate the real-world emissions on these scooters. Both engines remain unchanged in terms of power output and the performance figures of both models are similar to the previous iteration.
The design and styling on both the VXL and SXL models are the same as before, apart from the fact that now these scooters are now offered in dual-tone shades with loud colours. The main aim of Vespa is to attract young buyers who want a classy-looking scooter for everyday use.
