Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the Super Splendor Canvas Black Edition. It is available in both drum brake and disc brake variants, starting from Rs 77,430(ex-showroom, Delhi). The commuter motorcycle also comes with a five-year warranty from Hero MotoCorp.

On the design front, the Canvas Black Edition gets an all-black paint finish with the Super Splendor and H-logo in 3D. It also comes with features such as a semi-digital instrument console, USB charger and side-stand engine cut-off.
The Super Splendor is powered by a single-cylinder 125-cc engine making 10.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 1.08 kgm at 6,000 rpm. This engine comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It is claimed to provide enhanced fuel efficiency, up by 13 per cent, with a mileage of 60-68 kpl.
The motorcycle gets conventional telescopic fork suspension at the front and 5-step adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. The brake setup consists of a drum brake at the rear with the option of a disc or drum at the front. It gets a Combi Braking System (CBS) as well. The disc brake variant is priced at Rs 81,330 (ex-showroom, Delhi), Rs 3,900 more than the drum brake variant.
