Hero MotoCorp adds one more variant to the Destini 125 scooter. The XTEC variant comes with features like an idle stop-start system, a new digital-analogue speedometer along with Bluetooth connectivity, a front USB charger, and an LED headlamp, to name a few.

With the XTEC variant, the digital-analogue speedometer provides the rider easy access to vehicle and connectivity functions like incoming and missed call alerts, new message alerts, timings, as well as the real-time mileage indicator and low fuel indicator. In terms of overall appearance, the XTEC variant comes with a dual tone seat and coloured inner panels along with chrome accents on the mirrors, muffler protector and handlebar. There’s also a new Nexus Blue colour that’s exclusive to the XTEC trim.

On the mechanical front, the Destini 125 XTEC remains unchanged. It has a 125cc engine that produces 9 bhp at 7000rpm and 1.06 kgm of torque at 5500rpm. And for better fuel efficiency, the Destini comes with patented i3S technology. Oh, there’s also a small seat backrest for the pillion.

The Destini 125 is available in two variants — STD and XTEC. The former is priced at Rs 69,900, while the latter is priced at Rs 79,990 (ex-Delhi). Do let us know what do you think of its retro styling.
