The CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) achieved a significant milestone by successfully concluding its Mega Rider Auction for Season One. The event showcased the league’s commitment to excellence, with a total of 104 riders, including 73 international racers and 31 Indian riders, participating in the auction.

The CEAT ISRL will showcase an exhilarating season with races across three vibrant cities, featuring four categories: 450cc international riders, 250cc international riders, 250cc India-Asia mix, and the highly competitive 85cc junior class.

The auction, with a cumulative spend of Rs. 6 Crores, unfolded among six teams, each allowing up to two riders per category, with a maximum of 48 slots available.

Notably, the fiercely competitive 85cc junior class witnessed Bhairav C Gowda’s standout performance earning him the highest bid, highlighting his potential as a rising star. Sri Lanka’s Nathan Alexander Gunawardena set a record for Season One by securing the highest bid in the 250cc India-Asia Mix category.

In the power-packed 450cc international category, Thomas Ramette secured the highest bid, adding to the excitement of the auction.

The event also marked a momentous stride for gender inclusion in the sport, as Aleena Mansur Shaikh and Nithila Das emerged as two female riders selected by teams in the 85cc junior class.

Mr. Veer Patel, Director and co-founder of CEAT ISRL, expressed his excitement about the auction’s success, highlighting its significance in the evolution of motorsport. He emphasized the event as a testament to the spirit of competition, commitment to transparency, and the pursuit of excellence.

CEAT ISRL’s Season One is poised to redefine Supercross, leaving an indelible mark on the global motorsport landscape.
