The Benelli TRK 502 and the TRK 502X may soon be replaced by the TRK 552 twins. In China, the company has launched the updated motorcycles, and there’s a lot more going than a bigger engine.

For starters, the TRK 552 comes with all-LED illumination. This is complemented by a new TFT console, likely with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Furthermore, there’s heated seats and grips, which could be sold as accessories in our country.

Interestingly, Benelli has even upgraded the hardware of its adventure bike. The TRK 552 twins now sport adjustable suspension up front, and new J.Juan brakes instead of the Benelli-branded units.

The Benelli TRK 552 duo come with the new 549cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that’s estimated to put out 60 bhp and 5.3 kgm. This is the same engine that is also featured on the Benelli Leoncino 552 which is yet to grace the Indian  stores.

Benelli comes under Adishwar Auto Ride India Pvt Ltd, which also has brands like Keeway, Zontes and Moto Morini. The Benelli TRK 502 duo currently retail between Rs 5.85 lakh to Rs 6.15 lakh (ex-showroom), and the new products are expected to come with another hike in the price.
