Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the upgraded SP 125, a 125cc commuter motorcycle, to comply with the latest OBD 2B emission norms. Priced from ₹91,771 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new SP 125 features new styling elements, enhanced technology, and practical features catering to the needs of modern riders.

Features

The 2025 SP 125 features an all-LED headlamp and taillamp, aggressive tank shrouds, chrome muffler cover and new bold graphics. It is available in five colour options designed to appeal to younger riders.  Keeping Connectivity is a key focus, Honda has featured a 4.2-inch TFT display integrated with Bluetooth through the Honda RoadSync app, providing navigation and the convenience of voice assist features. Additionally, a USB Type-C charging port is also included, catering to the needs of today’s technology-savvy users.

Performance and Efficiency

The motorcycle is offered with a 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, now compliant with the country’s OBD 2B norms. It delivers 10.7 bhp of power and 1.1 kgm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Honda has also provided an idling stop system which will contribute to improving the overall fuel efficiency of the bike by shutting off the engine during short stops , such as traffic lights.

The SP 125 is available in two variants:

  • Drum Brake: ₹91,771
  • Disc Brake: ₹1,00,284
