In a significant milestone for India’s growing electric commercial vehicle sector, Euler Motors has introduced the Turbo EV 1000, the world’s first 1-tonne electric mini truck, at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This launch marks a bold step toward making electric mobility more accessible for small businesses and fleet operators while addressing the pressing need for sustainable transportation solutions.
Targeting India’s commercial vehicle market, where electric penetration currently stands at just 2 per cent, the Turbo EV 1000 is designed to combine high performance with affordable pricing. It offers a real-world driving range of 140-170 km on a single charge — a key factor for operators who depend on reliability for last-mile logistics and delivery operations. Under the hood, it delivers 140 Nm of torque, supported by 230 mm disc brakes on an R13 wheel platform, giving it the best performance figures in its category.

One of the standout features of the Turbo EV 1000 is its **fast-charging capability. Using CCS2 technology, the mini truck can gain up to 50 km of range in just 15 minutes, minimizing downtime and keeping vehicles on the road longer — a crucial factor for commercial operators.
Euler Motors claims the vehicle can deliver annual savings of up to Rs 1.15 lakh compared to conventional diesel trucks. These savings come from **lower fuel costs, reduced maintenance needs, and overall **better total cost of ownership, making it an attractive option for businesses operating on thin margins.
The Turbo EV 1000 will be available in three variants:
CITY – Rs 5.99 lakh
MAXX – ₹7.19 lakh
FAST CHARGE – ₹8.19 lakh
To make the transition to EVs easier, Euler has also introduced flexible financing plans, with EMIs starting at Rs 10,000 per month and a down payment as low as Rs 49,999.
